Finally Deregulation Begins, Petrol may Cost N144.


With the announced deregulation of the downstream sector and removal of subsidy on premium motor spirit (PMS), the price of fuel rose from N65 to N141, with this development, filling stations began hoarding petroleum products which created an artificial scarcity, which resulted to long queues, vehicle fares sky rocketed to about 200% of the previous prices with commuters stranded in most motor parks in every part of the country.
