Nigeria loses N3bn as Shell Shuts Down Pipeline

In three days, Nigeria had lost about N3.088 billion oil revenue due to oil theft that forced Shell to shut down its major pipelines that produce about 60,000 barrels per day for repair. The Royal Dutch Shell Plc is blaming incessant thefts on the line for causing chronic leaks along it. (view full text)
