Tackle oil theft, vandalism, PENGASSAN urges FG

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior staff Association of Nigeria has urged the Federal Government to tackle oil theft and pipeline vandalism.

PENGASSAN President, Mr. Babatunde Ogun, said these criminal activities had become a drain to the country’s resources.

A statement on Wednesday signed by the union’s Media and Information Officer, Mr. Babatunde Oke, described them as acts of economic sabotage.

The PENGASSAN President said the problems, among other issues, dominated the discussion during the last National Executive Council meeting of the union on April 4, 2013 in Calabar, Cross River State. Read more
