We’re currently reviewing and marking the entries we received and should be done by the 18th of June, when we will begin contacting contestants who have scaled through to the next stage of the competition.

In celebration of our 25th anniversary as an organization on the forefront of building integrity in Nigeria, the Integrity Organization is hosting an essay competition. The aim of this competition is to engage Nigerian youths in creative writing to express their opinions and perspectives on corruption and its impact on the country now, and in the future. Those whose essays are selected as the best stand a chance of winning prizes of up to six hundred thousand Naira (₦600,000)
The competition has two entry categories:
- Secondary School Students: entries in this category must be from students who are currently enrolled in secondary schools in Nigeria. The topic for this category is “Corruption is Outdated: A Picture of Nigeria in the Future”. The essay should be no longer than 1500 words.
- Undergraduate Students: this category is for students currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a tertiary institution in Nigeria. This include universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. The topic for this category is “How to Reduce Corruption to the Barest Minimum in Public and Private Institutions”. The essay should be no longer than 2500 words.
