Competition Overview

The Art4Integrity Competition is a call to young Nigerians, the Integrity Generation, who are shaping a new Nigeria with bold ideas, clean hands, and powerful art. From tech to music, sports to activism, we’re proving that corruption never had the final say. In celebration of 30 years of Integrity Organisation’s fight for a better Nigeria, this competition invites you to create with courage, through painting, photography, digital design, poetry, spoken word, or even memes, and tell the story of resilience, ingenuity, and hope. This is your chance to spotlight the bold ones rewriting what it means to be Nigerian.

Eligibility & Rules

    • Be Nigerian, living in Nigeria

    • Be between 18 and 35 years old as of the competition deadline

    • Individual or group entries are welcome

  • Painting/Drawing, Digital Art, Photography, Spoken Words (Performance), and Fictional Storytelling (dramatised excerpts)

  • All submissions must be original works created specifically for the Art4Integrity Competition. Previously published or exhibited works will not be accepted. Plagiarism or copying another artist’s work will lead to automatic disqualification.

    1. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, PDF, or MP4 (for spoken word/poetry/motion entries).

    2. Each entry must be properly labeled with your full name, title of work, and category.

    3. A short video of your creative process (under 10 minutes) must accompany each entry.

  • Entries will be disqualified if they:

    • Do not meet the originality requirement.

    • Are AI-generated (painting, photography, digital art, etc.).

    • Are submitted without the required creative process proof.

    • Are mislabeled, incomplete, or in the wrong format/size.

    • Are offensive, inappropriate, or unrelated to the theme.

    • Require permission to view (files should be set to “whoever with link can view”)

How to Enter

  • Create an original artwork that reflects the theme ‘The Integrity Generation: Reimagining Nigeria Through Art.’

    We want art that:

    • Reflects courage, truth, and the power of ideas

    • Challenges corruption, sparks hope, and dreams big for Nigeria

    Ask yourself:

    What does integrity mean in your world?

    • What does justice look like where you live?

    • How can art inspire change, even in hard times?

    Whether it’s a painting, poem, digital artwork, or spoken word – if it’s honest and powerful, we want to see it.

    1. Create your work and show your creative process:

      • Visual artwork (painting, digital art, drawing)

      • Photograph or photo series

      • Spoken word (Performed) or Fictional Storytelling (Dramatised)

      2. Give it a title and write a short description:

      • Explain the story and vision behind your submission

      • Explain how it relates to integrity, resilience, and the Nigerian experience
