Mr. Babajide Okuneye is the Corporate Risk Manager of the Integrity Organisation/The Convention on Business Integrity (CBi). He communicates risk policies and processes to the organisation, while providing hands on development of risk strategy involving market, credit and operational risk and ensuring controls are operating effectively.
Prior to his promotion to the position of Corporate Risk Manager, Babajide served in the capacity of Finance and Administration Manager where he worked very closely with PriceWaterHouseCoopers Uk (PwCUK) on the Business Innovation Facility project (a 5 year £10 million DFID UK funded project) to ensure timely, accurate submission of monthly reports and the Project budget management. He played similar roles on the PERL – ECP, Siemens Integrity Initiative, OSIWA, HBS, OXFAM, MACN and DFID Nigeria funded projects.
Babajide has a B.Sc in Accounting. He holds a diploma in Forensic Accounting and is an Associate member of the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants. He is also an Associate member of the Accounting Technicians West Africa (AATWA – ICAN). Babajide Okuneye has undergone training in Enterprise Risk Manager and is currently a student member of Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). He is also a student member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
