Stakeholder’s Roundtable on Ethics
From 23rd – 28th November 2018, a series of round-table discussions were held to discuss the role of business ethics among professionals in Nigeria juxtaposed against international business ethics. The discussions were centered on creating awareness as well as engaging accounting and legal practitioners on the relevance/impact of the International Business Ethics (UK Bribery Act, as well as ISO 37001) on their Businesses. It will also assist Accounting Practitioners to discover their vulnerabilities to corruption and what they must do to improve controls in other to make their companies attractive to potential international partners/businesses.
These discussions took place with support from the MacArthur Foundation, Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) and in partnership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
